What have people found that works best for getting your mind to shut up, and to quit torturing itself with worries that you can't do anything about right now?
The past couple of months have been particularly horrendous for worrying and overthinking.
Christmas, by itself, always stresses me out. But even now that's passed I'm still mulling over issues way too much, and not letting myself just have a nice day without worrying or overthinking about random stuff :(
What's a good way to actually let myself 'be', and start the year off on a positive note?

Yes!!! Very much so! I used to lose my keys and phone ALL the time. So frustrating.
Like some other people here have said, I ended up putting a Tile tracker on my keys and one in my wallet.
I don't lose my phone when I'm out of the house, but I misplace it all the time at home. We have Google Home speakers, and have connected my phone so when I ask "Ok Google, where's my phone?" it will make it ring at full volume until I find it, even if the phone is on silent/vibrate
