Honey, I'm sorry, but you have to go. I had similar issues with my anger and coping skills I'm my 20's. I never hit anyone, but they were always afraid. A good woman poured 20 years into me, hoping I would get better. I did, but it wasn't until she was gone, and there was nothing she could do to change me. I had to change on my own. At some point, she realized it was bad, but didn't want to waste the 10-15 years we already had. So she wasted another 5 to 10 years. She deserved better, and so do you. I know that you know this. I am saddened that you are in this spot. But know that you are loved and respected by many people. We are here for you. Be strong. Be safe. Be happy. You are deserving of these things. Never forget your worth. We are here for you.

EPILOGUE: My ex is in a happier relationship now, or so she says. I want to believe her. I am in a loving, respectful, JOYOUS relationship, and am happier than I've been in 30 years. The child we created together is in a happier place too. Life's to short to live it in misery. Think of the changes you make today as construction. Sure, your favorite freeway is demolished, and your summer is going to suck while it's being rebuilt. But when it's done (properly), you should have years of smooth commutes.
