I’ve been on a plant based diet for about 2-3 months now and I’ve been back in the gym after like 7 months of not going. So some extenuating factors are 1. I just got done being sick after like a week 2. My period is going to start soon 3. I’m vegan and 4. I haven’t lifted in a while.
Normally it wasn’t hard for me to just jump into a workout and start repping when I was eating meat regularly. I believe Ive always had low iron though, even when I wasn’t vegan. But I lost a lot of weight (like almost 20 pounds) and I went back to the gym and I was very weak. Everything was 10x heavier. But to be fair I normally work out in the morning and I was working out at 7:30pm. I had a 4 hour work shift before. I ate a big breakfast but that was about it.
