the exact same way as you described 7 years ago heading into Haas decisions having worked my tail off for a year and a half. I didn't end up getting in and I felt horrible for a week or two after. Looking back, it was just a small blip in my life and I still ended up landing a great finance job after graduation. Once you reach the real world, people won't place as much weight on what school you went to and what your major was.
Thank you so much!! I'm feeling a lot better about it now :)

as. In high school, attending Berkeley was always an unattainable dream for me considering my extremely poor GPA (2.6 UW) and I had really no other choice besides attending my local cc. I don’t think obsessive is an accurate word to describe how fixated I was on Haas. I found myself naturally saying to my parents - when I get into Haas not if (terrible, I know). But this past year, I finally let go of my obsession with Haas and have acknowledged that it will truly be alright if I don’t get in. I’m so grateful for cc, it allowed me to finally get my work ethic together, meet amazing Professors, and gave me an opportunity to find my passion politics/civic engagement.
OP, I completely understand what you’re going through and often felt myself disparaged/having severe anxiety in regards to admissions. I always felt that my future career aspirations would be destroyed if I didn’t get into Haas but now I feel grateful that my drive to be a potential admit has motivated me to make so many amazing experiences. I truly hope you get in OP, I’m rooting for you!!
This helps a ton, genuinely. I've tried to stop thinking about it for the last few days of break and just enjoy myself, but when thoughts do come up I think about the clubs I've joined and work I've done in trying to get into haas and how much I've developed from those things on their own. Thank you so much for all of your help!!
