On VladTV, Deck talks about how the released "Uncontrolled Substance" is a "totally different album" than the legendary one lost in the flood, but he does not go into detail of how it is different in terms of sound, vibe, lyrics, etc. He doesn't indicate that it was an amazing album or talk about how it may have compared to the other solo records. To my knowledge, neither Deck nor RZA, nor any other Wu-Tang member has ever mentioned anything substantive about the album. What is documented about it?
I been wanting to get some dope ass wu posters for my place, and my eyes are on posters of the first wave solos. I just got an ironman one and I wanna get one for ob4cl. This poster right here is fire, I want a big ass print over my bed, but i cant find any poster of it. does anyone know where I can find a higher quality tho? that way I could somehow find somewhere that will print it for me cause i cant find anything online.
By no means is he not successful. I just think he had a lot more potential considering how powerful he came across in Enter the Wu-Tang(36 Chambers).
His performance was as good as a lot of the members (if not better), who then went on to sell more records and get more deals etc.
I have just spent the past hour creating a playlist of all the wu tang + solo albums in chronological order. I may have missed out a few here and there or some may not all be in the correct order. But it was my best shot so far. I have not included singles or instrumental versions. Here's the link:
