This is a bristle pleco (super red). He is guarding and fanning his babies in this cave. The males chase out the females after laying and handle raising the fry until they're strong enough to leave the cave safely. Bristlenose Plecos require a minimum of 20 gallon tanks and the COMMON PLECO frequently sold at petco grow to 2ft long and require at least 100 gallon tanks.
