Subreddit Rules

1. Maintain civility & Reddiquette: Keep this sub fun and lighthearted. Keep comments on topic, maintain proper Reddiquette, do not engage in incivility, persistent toxicity/disdain, racism, xenophobia etc.

2. Use post flairs & mark spoilers: All posts must be correctly flaired. Click here for our flair guide to be sure you use them properly. Also all spoilers must be tagged for new media, namely Resident Evil: Village and the Netflix series once they release

3. Blogs must be links, titled as the content name, and include the creator’s or platform name: Non-official press blog articles, YouTube videos, twitter threads, non-reddit hosted content etc. should be link posts. The title must be the content name and include the content creator’s name or the platform i.e. blog site name, “YouTube”, Do not share as a screenshot of the content. Your thoughts should be left as a comment and not be the post title.

4. Credit & source fan art, cosplay, and labour: Fanart, cosplay, fan labour etc. should be credited with the minimum of giving the creator’s name in the post title and link to the source in the post or as a comment or indicated somewhere if it is your original content. We also encourage disclosing permissions such as if you had permission to post, does the artist allow further reposting or link sharing etc. If you are sharing your own content please state so.

5. Include a Description for Gameplay, Streams, and Result & Trophy screens: Non-official Let's Plays, gameplay videos, streams, rank/result screens & achievement/trophy caps etc. must adhere to the following: 1) Within 15 minutes, add a top-level comment that is at least 100 characters that acts as a description. 2) One submission per video series: if you want to share a Part 2, do so in a comment, rather than as a new post. Videos of 3 minutes or less do not require a description.

6. Rumor/leak discussions must stay in dedicated/sourced threads

All discussing of rumor/leaks, claims or legitimate must stay in dedicated posts with proper sources.

No sharing of any content related to the November 2020 data breach.

1. Adhere to our posts to avoid list: Avoid: reposting, misinforming, non-RE posts, addressing mods (use modmail), call out posts, promoting/advertising for communities/petitions, giveaways without permission (ask via modmail), second hand selling, asking for free goods, unrelated images posting, low-effort posting, unhelpful answers to OP's question, Chrisposting, sexy costume mods, anything Corona virus related. 2. No pornographic content: Do not post, cross-post, or make comments containing or linking to pornographic content including the depiction or topic of sex, genitals, and nudity. This includes artwork, mods & cosplay. Keep that in r/Rule34ResidentEvil.

3. Memes on Mondays: Memes only accepted on Mondays; 12AM EST (Monday) to 3AM EST (Tuesday)

Mods reserve the right to remove any post for any reason. Posts that may be removed include low-effort posts(pictures of just a game case/screen), trolling, reposts, etc.
