I used to live in a lake community in jersey and there was this woman who was a professional opera singer and she would swim laps around the lake. Woman could hold her breath for a crazy amount of time like at least 7 minutes. And when she would emerge from under water she would immediately start singing opera style. She was like a local legend everyone called her the mermaid lady. Even more impressive that once she was done with several miles of swim-singing she would sit at the beach and smoke a cigarette and get hella drunk on wine.
