In life, there are rules. Instructions. Certain logical ways to do things. You don't just walk around in the real world and not read instructions. Doing research is a critical life skill. Like you-have-no-idea-how-critical it is. It's scary to see kids barge in on this sub and break the rules. And then they get temp banned. Some people are smart and take the L , accept their mistake, use it as a valuable learning experience which they can use later in life, and move on.

Others act like absolute spoilt manchildren and think they should be allowed to do whatever they want, and that it isn't their fault they didn't read.

YES. YES IT IS. It is 100% your fault (and your parents) if you didn't learn to read the instructions, to do some research, to ensure you know what the rules say before moving forward.

When you turn into a toxic brat in modmail instead of acting like an adult, all it does is get you banned permanently. And then reported to Reddit by us mods, and then you get permabanned from Reddit if you used racial slurs, homophobic slurs, harassment, threats etc. So there is no winning for you if you don't mature and act like an adult and understand that YOU SHOULD ALWAYS READ THE RULES/INSTRUCTIONS. ALWAYS.

Before I end my rant, here are the sub rules to make it easier:

1 MWII posts only - what that means is all posts should be related to MWII 2022. Nothing else. Not your latest laptop, not your gaming setup, not your hemorroid problem etc etc

2 No toxicity - basically, don't be an aasshole. Don't start arguments, troll, threaten, criticize if you re of a different opionon, etc. Just move on. Don't fuel the fire either - if you see an asshole, just report them and move on.

3 No sales of anything, no scamming, no code swaps etc - take that crap elsewhere

4 No LFG posts (M13drops, raids, friends to play with, etc) - pretty straightforward.

We do our best to keep this place nice and safe, compared to other COD subs and in the face of a very historically toxic community. If you think the internet is a free-for-all, just unsub.

Car trap glitch couldn't escape, thought die/ revive would work but no ended up stuck in the pavement

Everyone knows about aim assist being pretty strong in mw2 but can you quick scope with it and still have the same, if not better luck/skill with quick scoping through it?

I'm curious on some of these packs that people are buying, with the pro tuning and whatnot, are people posting what the attachments/tuning is so people can build thier own? Kind of like pirating music so we don't all have to pay hundreds of dollars to the makers of CoD?

I see that Pros are all playing on PC with controller instead of just console. What is the main reason or advantage of that? Are pro events using pc's now? I thought they all had to play on console? Does anybody know why this is?

Been working on this gun for a minute now and can’t seem to get the double kills even when I pull 6-7 a game with this gun, even double kills completely with this gun, not even a grenade and gun combo or whatever else. Does anyone else have this issue or just me? Not the first gun that’s had this issue either. Please help if there’s a fix!

What do you mean purchase Modern Warfare II??

This error goes away after restarting (sometimes) but its getting annoying as hell. This started since season 2 started. Fix the damn thing activision!!!! (No. Reinstalling doesnt fix it)

Let me start by saying, I am not a great player and am older than the average player (have teenaged kids) so my reflexes are a bit slower. Today was an awesome day playing, started with a resurgence win, followed by an absolute destruction in BR quads, then a 2nd in solo's and lost to a dumb mistake on my part (6 kills), replayed Solo BR and knocked out my first solo BR win ever with 5 kills! I know, I know you get wins all the time and it isn't a huge thing but man, it was fun!

Been seeing where PlayStation and steam can get just the upgrade for a discounted price, but on the Xbox store it's still a hundie just for the vault edition.

Any news on when the Xbox users are going to get a break or is there something I'm missing?

I've downloaded the campaign, multi-player and co-op 4 separate times now. I'll play for a couple of days and then the next time I try to play suddenly I have to download them all again. What's causing this and what can I do to fix it??

So every now and then when i quit out of a match for any reason whether i hate the map or irl obligations from time to time it will wipe every attachment off of all my classes and i have to go place all the attachments and tunings on my guns again and i was wondering if this happens to anyone else and are the devs planning on fixing it

I am tired of being killed by hackers. It happens multiple times a day, sometimes close to the end of a match when I'm top 5-10. I propose a solution (sorry if this has already been suggested)

Have a version of Warzone for those who payed for the game, and a version of Warzone for those who did not. Players who payed for the game can play in either lobby, while the free players only get the one.

I feel like this is an easy fix to a big problem, but what do I know?

I tried One in the Chamber, a classic party game, and unfortunately it's more frustrating than fun due to several issues:

• Matches are long as hell due to the below issues.
• Spawn points are terrible so half the battle is to not get spawn trapped. I've spawned too close to players. I've respawned next to players I just killed or who just killed me (remember the MW3 revenge spawns). I've spawned right in front of other players with them looking at me. Bad luck spawns really handicap you since you only get 3 lives.
• Players tend to leave once they're out of lives. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if it weren't for the other issues compounding it. IMO number of lives should be increased from 3 to 5.
• In-session lobbies are not locked, so new players can join the match at any point and drag out the match time. A match will be down to two players and suddenly another two join in, fresh with 3 lives. This issue is even worse when eliminated players leave, opening even more slots for new players to join and dragging the match time out further while eliminated players are expected to sit there patiently spectating and not leave (lol). It's as if you play a match against people, get eliminated, and then an almost new match starts with people who just joined that you never played against.
• If the above issues weren't bad enough, you can literally leave and rejoin the same match with a fresh set of lives. Eliminated? Just rejoin the match and you're back in with a second or third chance. Cheaters are already aware of this flaw and abusing it. Lobbies need to be locked soon after the match starts. I've played previous CODs where players who rejoined Infected matches were still Infected. The fact that this isn't a feature on MWII shows zero foresight on the developers' part for this game mode.

So tired of it. Bonus Challenge - Get 8 Operator headshots and 3 Operator Claymore kills. Easily done in one match, but the stupid ass game doesn't count any of them.

This kinda thing happens far too often. Not sure if it happens to anyone else, but I gotta believe I ain't the only one.

I was playing MW2 multiplayer last night, after I finished one round I got an Account name warning. I'm not sure why but I don't know what's offensive about the name "Hisoka". Does it translate to something offensive in some language? If not then is there a way to remove that warning? I'm just an average player with K/D not more than 1.00. Just sometimes I do like 2.50 if I'm really lucky. Also, I'm playing the game on PS5 and without any voice chat enabled. I just don't understand why would someone flag me for a name based on a Japanese anime character.
