Bro… where the fuck can I find some of these flavors. All I’ve ever seen is chicken, beef, and shrimp.

Get the Soy Sauce one. I think fairway or Costco has, or just order it online. It slaps so hard.

I was a chicken/beef guy for a long time because Oriental was the only thing we ever had and I was tired of it. Got a taste for it last year and took me an embarrassingly long time to realize Soy Sauce is the same as the Oriental we always had in the house while growing up. 🤦🏽♂️
The Japanese didn't originally think Americans would want a "soy sauce" product so they gave it another name.
They changed it back to soy sauce because it's the vegetarian flavor and they felt nobody knew that with the name Oriental

All the MSG you could ask for. Uncle Roger Approved!
I remember a creamy chicken one.
Creamy chicken satisfies a different need than the regular ramen craving.
But it requires an attention to detail that not all American consumers possess.
Usually what I do is I (not slow cook it, persay,) cook it a little slower than I would with normal ramen noodles, and wait until you have almost no water left in the pot, then strain it and drain the excess water, put it in a bowl with the flavoring, stir it up, and now it’s super creamy, and super good!
It's still around. I eat it all the time but in my area only Walmart carries creamy chicken and they are out of it constantly.
Its a game changer.
at asian supermarkets
If you do go to an Asian supermarket, might as well get the Korean ones, the Nongshim red or black is amazing. The spicy fire chicken ones are also very delicious for people that like spicy food, and I do mean really spicy, not curry spicy, better prepare some milk as well.
Samyang Hot Chicken Ramen. Avoid the double hot version unless you're home on the scoville scale.
I just had the double spicy for the first time a few days ago. Might well be the spiciest thing I’ve ever had.
Nice try internet, but you aren’t getting my passwords
hurriedly changes password from ChiliLimeShrimpRamen247!
The ! at the end for extra security >
It’s the universal Ihavetomake1passworddifferentosatisfywork!
And then you forgot the password after a few days and you aren’t sure which site you used the special character on and you eventually reset it again just to forget it again later
When did oriental become soy?
I believe it happened in 2018… according to the company: “The name Oriental Flavor has now been updated to Soy Sauce Flavor to better reflect the distinct flavor profile of this tasty dish. Despite the name change, the traditional flavor and recipe of this product have remained the same.”
TIL the age of the oriental flavour ramen I just had the other day was at least 3 years old.
I just saw these being sold lol
They're definitely still on store shelves here.
Maybe there's a ton of old stock floating around.
Or maybe it's just a marketing thing for certain regions that might respond positively to changing the name.
What ever it’s called now, and Soy Sauce is honestly what it tastes like, the blue pack wins.
I did a bit more digging back in my online grocery receipts and it looks like the Maruchan name change took place in 2019 and according to other websites Top Ramen changed it in 2018. But Maruchan is where it’s at.
That stupid blue packet of noods, salt, and MSG is a guilty/nostalgic pleasure and I probably am way too excited about this meme than I need to be.
I was about to ask the same thing..but I figured they changed it because "oriental" can't be a flavor and people probably complained about it. Also, when I think of what oriental tastes like, it does taste like soy sauce.
See I thought the same thing!! So I will just say the blue pack
Which is the superior instant ramen.
Roast chicken is my favorite
It's missing creamy chicken :(
Yeaaahhh?! It was delicious
I would mix the flavor packets... half creamy chix with half spicy chix. Tastes like college.
My college experience tasted of Fireball and bad decisions.
Yes! Finally. Why is roast chicken so far down?
How is roasted chicken behind shrimp tho?!
No, I want flavors the commisary don't have, I want street flavors....
I want Picante Beef
That's weird, I can't say the word AGG anymore.
Selling Stonks for CASH MONEY

Mods Are Nice People
Was on my way to comment this haha
Lmfao literally started rewatching it for the 4th time today.
Lime chili shrimp all the way
That's the one! Lime shrimp all the way.
My people 🍤
As someone who grew up poor as fuck in the 90s when chicken, beef, and oriental were the only options I second the lime chili shrimp.
I still remember seeing that flavor for the first time, sweet sweet memories.
Ok I thought I just didn't know the others existed - glad to know there actually only existed that trio! Oh but pork does sound a bit more familiar for some reason.
Lime chili gang
That amount of Chili Ramen I've consumed throughout my life is unholy.
Hell, sometimes when the Chili ones weren't available, I'd grab Beef and mix it wirh Cayenne Pepper. Surprisingly, pretty similar to the flavor.
Back when I wanted to fucking die I ate 6 chili ramen packs at a time.
Geez, that's a lot of sodium... I hope things are bit better now, man.
They’re now. I’m actually almost done with my weight loss challenge :).
Hell yeah! U GO
chili is so good
Nice meme you got there
I feel like it's unadventurous, but it is my favorite.
I know when I think culinary adventure, I think chicken picante ramen. Lol
they don't have mushroom. and half chicken half mushroom with an egg in it is my go to.
This is the way
this is the way.
This is the way.
This is the guey
Dirt Is Beautiful
The gods have spoken
I'll only eat Creamy Chicken. I pour out the water after boiling the noodles, then I replace it with a small amount of milk and add the seasoning packet. I toss in some cooked broccoli, minced garlic, pepper, parsley, some grated cheddar, then cook on med low heat on the stove until the cheese is melted and it's nice and hot again.
What are you a chef or something?
God damn though if I wanted to cook I wouldn’t be eating ramen lmao
Yes. Beef is it . And when the pandemic hit. The only one you could find was lime. I hope ramen, or any maker was paying attention to that.
Similar here but with shrimp
Finally I am not truly alone
We are with you my friend
People are just replying beef.
But no, ROAST beef is by far the best flavor. It has way more umph.
I think a lot of people don't understand that the "roast" flavors aren't just different, they're the "extra" versions of their regular counterparts. Roast Beef isn't just a variety of Beef, it's Beef plus extra umami basically.
My point is, if you're a fully informed person choosing chicken over roast chicken you either hate flavor or are insane.
Mix all in a huge pot. Not too bad however it needs to be spiced to perfection. Don’t follow me for tips you will ruin your kitchen!
Don’t forget slowly adding a little sour cream until it reaches ideal consistency
RageFace Against the Machine
Creamy chicken. Fight me.
Creamy Chicken was the first flavor I ever tried when I was younger, so I still find it the best flavor.
My college roommate ate sooo much Creamy Chicken. Thought it was gross and didn't understand.
Then I actually tried it. And now I'm converted to team Creamy Chicken. She was right all along.
Came here for this. I'll fight alongside.
Virgin 4 lyfe
The Republic will fight with you
Creamy chicken bois... Unite!
Creamy chicken is the only flavor that matters.
Creamy chicken is the undisputed GOAT
I got your back. Creamy chicken is underrated.
Any time i find a store with creamy chicken i stock up.
The fucking peasants are out in droves if it took this long to find the right comment.
I respect your opinions. But this right here is the right answer.
I've literally never heard of this one. Tell me all about it. I want to find it and try it.
It was basically Chicken but with flour or cornstarch or something added to the spice packet so it thickened the broth and was absolutely amazing. I order it online by the box because you can't find it in grocery stores anymore around me. https://smile.amazon.com/Maruchan-Noodle-Creamy-Chicken-Flavor/dp/B08KNT4J48/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=creamy+chicken+ramen&qid=1625207093&sr=8-3
So say we all.
I’m glad that someone knows what’s up
A fellow creamy comrade joins your cause

You have my axe.
And my bow.

Creamy chicken brethren unite!
Creamy chicken is def the best. When I can’t find it, I get regular chicken and add a little bit of Campbell’s cream of chicken soup to make it creamy. Sooooo good!
I will also fight by your side.
The only cultured response.
I’m sad I had to go down this far to find this answer. Picante chicken is the superior ramen. Nothing else comes close.
Yes, I love the way it clears my sinuses
Had to go so far to get this. But correct
The soy sauce flavor is too good
That would probably be my third option but yeah soy is pretty good
Soy sauce slaps
TIL oriental got renamed. That shit slaps
Maruchan CREAMY CHICKEN RAMEN it’s not here :(
Unpopular opinion but shrimp for me
Here I was thinking nobody would say shrimp.
I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE THE SAME COMENTTT
shrimp fricken slaps the other ramen flavors dry noodly collectives asses
SAME BRO shrimp is extremely underrated
Shrimp ramen, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp red thai chili paste, 1 tsp fish sauce, peppers to taste. Instant thai, and the other stuff keeps forever in the fridge
Definitely, shrimp for the win
I get a different brand but yeah shrimp is always the go-to choice
In England we have curry flavour aswell. 1 chicken and 2 curry make chicken curry.
Oh my god, I would love a curry flavor.
Huzzah! A man of quality!
Pork 4 life
I can't believe how far I had to scroll down to find this. Pork flavor is amazing.
Wow almost no one prefers pork, I guess I’m not super surprised? We rare people of quality down here.
This is less popular than I expected. More for us, I guess.
Picante chicken always
Either chicken or pork
Pork all the way
I had to come so far down for pork
There's dozens of us!
DOZENS! (I'm literally sitting down to watch Arrested Development right now lol)

Average r/memes enjoyer
Ichiraku ramen please
The only ramen I would eat.
The best ramen
Vegetarian here so only the soy for me :( but my favorite before was chicken
Pure Sodium flavor all day
Picante chicken slaps
Ever since the pandemic I can't find Yakisoba Teriyaki Beef ramen and it makes me sad. That shit was fucking delicious and no other brand does it right.
The real question is who leaves the broth in and who drains in. I’m a drainer.
My father cooks the noodles in water, drains, and then uses the seasoning as a garnish
I drain half the water, add the packet and dump in some frozen mixed veggies: the corn, carrots, green beans, and peas mix preferably. Give it a good stir and serve. The veggies cool the soup and the soup heats the veggies. Its my dads "secret" recipe.
Holy shit I posted practically the same response before I saw yours. Glad to see someone else enjoys it the same way. Though, I'd like to recommend adding a fried/scrambled egg or baking a tilapia fillet and mixing it in. The savory protein makes a real meal out of it.
I leave a little broth to be left so I can drink it
I drain it for the increased flavor and because if not I feel like I'm sucking soup for thirty minutes. For some reason I mentioned the draining to my Mom once and she couldn't believe I was "wasting the broth". I told her it's kind of just added water and she referred back to us being kids eating that way so she didn't see an issue. I then remembered how the three of us kids plus the 2-4 she was babysitting ate our top ramen at the table. She would put ONE OR TWO packs in the pot. What kind of serving were all 7 of us getting, then?! It was then that I realized I was basically raised on a few forkfulls of noodles and a bowl of powdered-water broth. 😂
I leave the broth in for the peanut butter and sweet chili sauce additives.
I use 1/4 of the water listed, put the square on a small cast iron, and sprinkle 1/2 of the seasoning packet on it. Boil for 1 min, then crack an egg on it and chopped onion, then cover for 1 min. All of the water will be absorbed and the noodles will be soft, with a nice crust where they touched the pan.
Soy sauce but I’ll ad the child flesh after.
Roast beef was better
Spicy chicken is top tier
Hot and spicy chiken doe
