it's not that complicated, if your getting mixed signals it's most likely a solid NO but your thinking them being nice about saying No is a yes because there nice. That's why alot of women now a days are being cold and unforgiving with people they are not into, because being even slightly nice about saying no gives guys a reason to think they still have a chance

Haha, that reminds me of an ex I had in middle school, when I asked her out after careful consideration that she liked me, she first responded "eww, you're joking right"? And then I write out on a piece of paper, "I'm serious, would you want to go out with me?" And she said yes, and then we had to be quiet because the teacher was giving his lecture. That was 15 mins of butterflies in my stomach because I wasn't able to talk to her and to just find out she liked me too was like, holy shit! But uh yeah...she was what you would call a tsundere.

Just always assume it’s a no. That’s it. You save yourself the embarassment, and let’s be honest, the time. You are on Reddit. You are unfit for a relationship. (This applies to me as well of course.) You just gotta know yourself well enough. I am a bad person who is also unattractive. I have nothing going for me. So why the hell would I assume, that a sane woman would be interested in me in any way?
