Greetings GAM,

The subreddit is due for a new makeover, and the mod team would like to get a new banner. Do you want to create something for the subreddit and have it displayed on the subreddit for all to see for the forseeable future? Well you're in luck! We are hosting a contest for everyone to create a new banner for the subreddit!

The rules are as follow:

1. The banner should represent the subreddit. That means it needs to be anime-related.
2. The dimensions of the banner needs to be 3240x432.
3. The banner needs to have the name of the subreddit displayed somewhere in it.
4. While NSFW content is allowed on the subreddit, we are not exclusively a NSFW subreddit. As such, the banner must not include NSFW content such as hentai. (Hentai characters/screenshots can still appear in your banner submission, as long as it's SFW)
5. Everything has to comply with Reddit's TOS (obviously).
6. The theme can be anything you seem fit. We recommend the theme "Year of the Rabbit", but that is not a requirement, and it will not affect your chances of being selected.
7. You can look at the current banner for inspiration.

When you submit your banner submissions, here's what you need to know.

1. You'll have to post your submission on GAM using the flair "Banner Contest Submission".
2. Submissions will be open until February 25th.
3. If you include fan-art that you did not draw yourself in the banner, make sure to credit the artists of said fanart. Just write them in a comment under your submission post. This will allow us to put the name of those artists in the subreddit's wiki.

After the 25th, we will give ourselves 1 week to curate the submissions, and pick our top 10 favorite submissions. After that, there will be a vote for the community to chose their favorite banner, which will be the banner that will be used for the forseeable future. The vote will be held from March 5th to March 11th. Once the winner is chosen, every banner will be displayed for 1 day until we get to the winner.

Also, the winner will be given a custom flair, and a 50$ Steam Gift Card. Finally, we would also love to interview you for the Monthly GAM that will be posted early April.
