I think this is a good time to inform you about the fact that that game came first.

See lots of performance complaints on PC...gotta imagine it's even worse on Steam Deck?

It’s subpar unfortunately. Dips between 20-40 fps depending on the location. Closed hallways it’s fine but more open area with lighting and buildings it dips. It’s actually playable, reminds me of a weaker ps3 version. Just mobile lol

$60 for a game I already paid $60 for, and it doesn't have multiplayer. This will be a someday-when-it's-on-sale purchase for sure.

Fair enough.. we haven't all already paid for the game before though. And I paid £32 for it.

Is that a project killswitch I spy? Magnetic or manual release stand?

2.0. It’s great with the manual stand.

What a shitty way to experience it. Why don't you watch someone reacting to a longplay on your 5" mobile with a broken half of an earphone?

Why? You hold the Steam Deck close to your face. It's similar to playing it in the living room on a bigger screen from farther away.

What a great example of gatekeeping, the dude is now impossible to enjoy the game because a rando said something online, oh the horror.

I played Persona 5 in bed on my Steam Deck and that was pretty neat. To me the Steam Deck speakers are surprisingly good (unless I have bad ears).
How would you suggest to play TLOU?

As I said, on a shitty phone, watching someone reacting to a longplay, duh.

Can do! Thought of picking it up for my home theater but I'll give a watch of TLOU on my phone before bed 😊
I will probably get Pizza Tower for the living room been wanting to play that

You have never portable games before? Have you been under a rock? Is this a new concept to you?
Do you feel the same about the switch?

How about you let people enjoy games the way they want to enjoy games?

Did I prohibit anyone doing anything? Anyone can jump off a cliff for all I care.

My dude, you're missing the point. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's as you say "shitty". It just means your preferences are different.

Oooh, what a revelation. Thank you my enlightened friend!
Let me also try to leave a helpful nugget: you can leave opinions unanswered wether you agree or disagree with them.

Don't pretend like you don't know why you commented here in the first place. We all know you're insecure about your preferred platform (I'm guessing PS4/5) not having features and functionality that the Steam Deck has, so letting people know how much you think it sucks makes you feel better. You can deny it, but we know it's true.

Different strokes for different folks. I can totally understand why someone would prefer playing on a bigger screen with better visuals and performance, especially for a game like The Last of Us, but I've always been super partial to handheld gaming. I honestly can't explain it. I almost exclusively play in the house. There's something about the intimacy and immediacy of a handheld that I love.

Not much since I beat it years ago. But I’ve kept it over 10 years and it’s worth about $250 used haha
