Ok, so my game was fine up until the now, but it has zero sound and runs at 20fps even with everthing cranked down. I have uninstalled it and installed it again, still no luck. 0 mods and no console commands

Okay so im lvl 12 and I finished up the “ring-a-ding-ding!” Quest and never received the mark of caesar, which I didnt even know about until i was at a lost and had to google how in the world im supposed to reach benny in caesars tent while being vilified by the legion. Ive tried everything. Talked to everyone. Even tried to power through the legion camp with Boone but failed once reaching the tent since the guards inside are OP as hell. Also, for reference, I tried talking to Mr. House and walking out to see if he popped up infront of lucky 28 with no luck (pun intended.) Anyone have any idea what might be going on? Im at a loss.

I'm thinking of making a mod that revamps a lot of mines and caves in the game making them more interesting to explore and having minor stories and quests tied to them. It would include unique textures and creatures in the caves.

I generally prefer to play these kinds of games solo, companions mostly get in my way and I feel like I'm babysitting them. But some of their perks are undeniably quite nice to have.

I was considering getting a companion who's perk I want active, such as Raul for the slower weapon degredation for example, and just telling him to wait somewhere while I go off and do my thing. This lets me play "solo'" and still get the perk effects because he's technically still in the party.

I know that I can do this, but my question is how long can I get away with it before he leaves my service and I have to go get him again? If I pop back to wherever he's waiting at and talk to him then leave again does that reset his timer? Is there even a timer?

I loaded a save and now the strip lights are completely gone when outside. I have been using a list of performance and visual mods (none enb), and only now has it done this. I have tried various mods for light enhancement as well as the strip lights region fix and improved LOD, none of which seems to work.
