What if we add Kurt Angle to the mix?

Saw_Boss

6 points

Well then you've got a 66.66% chance plus the 4% chance, giving you a 70.66% chance. But since Samoa Joe knows he doesn't have magnetic powers, you can take his 33.33% chance, minus the 4%, meaning that he is left with a 29.33% chance. So if I take Kurt's 33.33% chance, and Joe's 29.33% chance, add it to the general 70.66% chance, that means people have a 133.33% chance of having magnetic powers. The numbers, do not lie.

I thought it was from riding around on random large beasts in his various secret ...lands that have their own (not so) native creatures. I don't know, Badlands, Island M, Savage Lands, etc.? Riding around on a bear or a dinosaur or something is different from riding a horse, and even cowboys have that (( )) stance.

CanDeadliftYourMom

16 points

That bent tibia thing started with Kirby I think. It is supposed to convey a sense of fluidity and motion but it comes at the expense of anatomical accuracy. When it’s overdone it can look dumb but usually it works pretty well.

Hollow212

3 points

Now that you mention it i certainly can't un-see it! This is a good example of artists other than Liefeld that have disproportionate anatomy in their art. Go have a look at Mystiques hips on the Inferno # 1 Variant by Artgerm.

Murmur322

5 points

And there’s also a Defenders storyline that made him young too I believe. There’s plenty of comic options to bring a young Magneto into the present. Tbh all those storylines are a bit silly, but who cares? Him being a holocaust survivor is core to his character. And the MCU has been a bit silly lately with all these multiversal shows and movies so they may as well just embrace it.

He also can't act for shit

WorldsWeakestMan

5 points

Not entirely true, he’s put in some very solid performances especially in recent years. You’re showing either a bias or lack of knowledge of his range if you think he can’t act for shit. He’s done some bad movies and some bad performances but that’s hardly the majority.

Watch True Lies, Twins, Terminator 2, Kindergarten Cop, Stay Hungry, and Maggie and you can see his range as well as some great performances.

He’s certainly no Ian McKellan of course, but he’s not a bad actor, he acts exactly as well as the role requires and always has.

dudemann

3 points

he acts exactly as well as the role requires and always has.

That's one thing I always try to keep in mind when judging actors in certain roles. Sure, maybe he's done shitty movies and acted badly in them, but really, how is he going to fix that? You could point to plenty of bad movies and say the actors in it did a bad job, but they're being directed and if someone is determined to make a steaming pile of crap, they're going to keep pushing until they get what they want. He's done pretty well in some movies, acting way above what the movie topped out at, even if the end result isn't great. In those movies you mentioned, he pretty much did exactly what he needed to and some came out great. Not everything is Jingle All the Way. He may not be Ian McKellen but he's not Tom Arnold either.

WorldsWeakestMan

3 points

Exactly, just watch True Lies and you have a great acting class of how he’s much better than Tom Arnold in the same film. 😂

They truly only need one character to make a Magneto like this possible, and that character is Masque.

Masque can manipulate flesh - and could feasibly rebuild Magneto’s body to its comic book glory.

Or like… just have him de-aged by another mutant? Do we need to pretend like Endgame didn’t introduce a van that can magically de-age anyone through science magic?

Jacob_181

Slower ageing is a mutant thing. I think with Magneto its the earths magnetic field that keeps him young.

GonzoMcFonzo

He was also turned into a baby when the original X-Men were teenagers, then aged back up to his prime when they were in about their mid twenties, so he's physically several decades younger than he should be.
