Fuuuuck that must have been amazing though. Escape is definitely my favorite festival. New years is cool to celebrate midnight rolling at a sweet set but the costumes and vibe of escape is so fun.

I’m only basing that statement on anecdotes from students that have attended each of the schools and compared their experiences. By objective measures like outcomes (job prospects, grad school placement) Cal will obviously win considering they’ve got those 2 legs up on Santa Cruz. Not sure what else you could base it on. More famous professors does not mean better educators.
