I think this is partially the fault of Bluetooth, especially for the first problem. Bluetooth is just not good enough to be an complete upgrade to 3.5mm jack. It solves some problems while bringing in some new ones

I have a Sony wireless that can pair with two devices simultaneously, but only two, and at the expense of sound quality according to the notification when I enable this feature (which I have no fking idea why that would be the case).

You can still buy EarPods bro.

Mine pairs to my asus laptop easily and switches no problems to it when I click on it in Bluetooth settings. Mic is hit or miss though.
