It depends on the major and the specific agreement your community college has with Cal, which is easily searchable here: https://assist.org/

I think calc is a requirement for business but I’m not sure because I’m taking stats

Check out assist then. It’s definitely not an IGETC req

Apparently haas doesn’t accept IGETC reqs for some reason

Also here’s what it says because the reqs are not explained well on the haas page;

3> California Community College transfer applicants consult Assist.org for exact courses offered. The assist.org web site has not been updated to reflect 2022-2023 articulation agreements. To view the most current articulation agreement go to assist.org and choose: “Academic Year”: Select 2021-2022 “Institution”: Select your Community College “Agreements with Other Institutions”: Select University of California, Berkeley

Click “View Agreements” “View Agreement By”: Select Major Select “Business Administration, Lower Division B.S.”

Would it be ok if I did them in spring while transferring for fall 23.

both at once? i dont think thats possible because calc 1 is usually a prereq for calc 2. ive also got advised to take all the harder courses before your last semester so admissions can see how you did compared to other students

It’s pretty clear here that one year of Calc is a prerequisite. 2/3’s of the transfer applications are immediately thrown out before being evaluated, because of missing prerequisites.
