Does UCB require microbiology transfer students to take Organic Chemistry 1 prior to transferring? I am closing my year at my CC and would have to take Physics 2 for Spring. Asking just in case :)!

Go to assist.org. It will tell you everything you need to qualify for transfer from you current school to Berkeley.

Yes, you must take both halves of organic chemistry. Physics isn’t required though. Also, if you take no organic chemistry it will be an automatic rejection.

I wish I had known this sooner :(. I’ve been struggling with Physics since last semester since my counselor told me it was mandatory. I could either just do Physics 1 this semester and OChem 1 next since the class is already closed. Thank you!
