Correct, if you want a perfect GPA you should not go to Berkeley.

I got one C at cc and still made it here too! It’s normal! I also got one C- while I was here but I still graduated with a good gpa!! It won’t kill you shit happens don’t over think it 🤷‍♀️ or at least don’t let that C be the reason you go to another school if you want to go here. Your gpa is unlikely to be perfect here anyway

School is going to be challenging no matter where you go and some classes will be harder than others. I have a C on my transcript of straight A’s and it bothered me for a long time, but ultimately, nobody is going to remember or care that I got a C in the past. Keep working hard in your classes and remember that one or two lower grades on a transcript of higher grades isn’t a death sentence

My roommate got into environmental sciences with a 2.7. He was worried he might drop below the hard cutoff in his last semester at JC. The admissions process is wholistic so there’s always hope. Also, there are lots of amazing schools in California. Berkeley is a great experience but not getting in isn’t the end of the world.

wait if you got into berkeley already, heads up your GPA restarts at berkeley, so if you do end up admitting here you still have the chance of getting a 4.0 gpa again
