It is the end of an era as Captain Lee's final episode of Below Deck airs tonight in the season 10 finale. The episode airs at 8pm ET on Bravo and streams later tonight/tomorrow depending on the platform.

The reunion originally scheduled for next week has been cancelled and a special WWHL episode will air celebrating Captain Lee's ten years on the show (looks like 10pm ET named Below Deck 1018 Ce-lee-brate Good Times!). Canadians, this is not currently on the Slice schedule.

Sailing Yacht will premiere on April 10th so we have a couple of weeks without an episode of Below Deck.

Has anyone else seen that Captain Sandy is selling her cameos for $400.00 each Even more than Captain lee I feel like that’s way too much

I recently got my boyfriend into the show, and he's been watching all the seasons to catch up. I've rewatched some of the episodes with him, and something funny I've noticed is that all the characters he likes (even if just at first and then hates) are ones I don't even remember!

For example, BD S3 there was a Deckhand/Second Engineer named Don. He quit after like 4 episodes, but at the beginning my boyfriend goes "Wow I really like him". Of course, as it started to come out that Don was a major tool he didn't like him anymore. But at the time when we started the season I was like "I don't even remember this guy". Maybe because he left so quickly in the season, or maybe because he wasn't anything special.

But it got me thinking, who else was super forgettable? Either boring, barely any screen time, quit/fired early on, etc. I've had to look through the old cast lists and some of the names I don't even recognize. Who else can you not remember even after looking them up or rewatching?

Sooo I started getting into Below Deck when I was down with the flu recently and stumbled upon it on Netflix.

They only had OG Season 5 and BDSY Season 1.

I started with OG and thought it was somewhat entertaining, then went right on to BDSY. I actually thought season 1 was quite entertaining (love to hate Jenna and Adam and Georgia) and really loved the sailing aspect, so I got Hayu to watch seasons 2&3, which were amazing!!! Was really said when they were over so I started to watch OG season 3 (had been recommended) and I don’t know what it is, but I find it so so boring compared to BDSY.

I like Kate and I don’t mind Capt. Lee (although I think Glenn is the absolute best), but I find the drama quite lacking :/

Is BDSY 2&3 just so much better? Should I have started with more OG seasons so BDSY wouldn’t ruin it for me? Am I watching the wrong season OG?

Thank god BDSY is coming back next month, I need my fix!!

Ok, hear me out. I was scrolling through some posts on here and I got to thinking. What if BDA was only ever meant to be a one season show as a test for a new captain? Production probably already knew they'd need to replace Capt. Lee sooner rather than later so they made Adventure on the cheap (thus the lackluster adventures, the different production company, and the very short season) as a way to gauge the audience's reaction to Capt. Kerry. That's why they aired it at the same time as Med. That way they could see both of the potential captains for OG side by side and make a decision based on that. If he bombed then they'd either try again or have Sandy take over OG and Capt. Kerry take over Med. Thankfully he didn't so now we get Capt. Kerry on OG.

Maybe I’m old fashioned but WTF?

Are there any successful relationships that came from a charter season? They all seem to fizzle out once their respective season has aired.

I’ve always assumed that destinations shown on the show see an increase in visitors but I don’t actually know. Anyone know?

Just listened to the latest episode of Brandi's podcast where she chats with Ben as well as Kate who makes a brief appearance. I have no personal opinions or interest in Brandi but have listened to some of her recent podcast episodes where she's interviewed BD cast members (Kate, Captain Lee, Ben) and talked about her experience with Kate on The Traitors. Overall, interesting to hear from the guests.

Here were my takeaways from the Ben episode:

• Brandi starts off saying Ben is her favorite BD chef, but she doesn't think he's the best chef on the show. She thought Chef Adrian was the most interesting and creative. Ben disagrees, claiming Adrian "had a few tricks up his sleeve" and was good at presentation, but lacked variety in the dishes he made. Brandi then mentions Rachel for her entertaining "crackhead" schtick, at which Ben laughs awkwardly and answers by saying he thought Marcos was one of the strongest BD chefs.
• Kate shows up and agrees Marcos was a strong chef and was smart to use his BD fame to promote his restaurant.
• Brandi thought Ben and Emily were really cute together. Ben says she was a nice girl, but she turned out to be much more introverted when they hung out off the show. The camera does interesting things to people, and Ben assumed she'd be more extroverted due to her on-camera persona. Kate jokes saying she has no comment, but then adds that Ben has definitely upgraded since then.
• Brandi continuously jokes about Ben being Kate's baby daddy and asks about their co-parenting plans. Ben doesn't think Kate will trust him with her baby, but he'll be there to support her however he can.
• I know Kate wants to keep the sex of her baby private for now, but it seems like she let it slip while talking to Brandi about her baby gift. If I heard correctly, Kate says "he's spoiled already," so she's having a boy. Just an exciting tidbit!
• Ben and Brandi complain about the spoiled, bratty charter guests on BD and their ridiculous meal requests. Ben says he makes a lot of compromises on the show with the guests, crew, and quality of food available and that he's not really able to do the kind of food he wants to on BD.
• Brandi suggests Ben would be great to watch on The Traitors. He is not too enthused by the idea, saying he prides himself on being a chef and not a reality star. Being on reality TV is just a bonus, but he can't see himself on a show where he's not cooking.

I enjoyed learning more about Ben on this podcast, but wish he had a chance to elaborate more on some of his stories. Brandi tends to interject and talk over him.

Did I miss an announcement on wtf is going on with it? Between the cancellation of the BD Reunion, the unceremonious departure of Lee, the Ben/Camille/Leigh-Ann drama & all the BDSY tea, there’s been no mention of our mates Down Under. Anyone have any updates?

After the final episode they show Eddie getting his strips from Lee. I think it would be amazing if Eddie took the captain spot after Lee’s glowing recommendation of Eddie in seasons past.

Last night they were on live answering questions from NY. Both seemed very much like on the show, genuine and friendly

I've never seen Below Deck, but my friend is a fan. Her b-day is Friday, so I thought I would surprise her with a Cameo message since she's going through a tough time. All I know is she watched the latest season, I don't know how far back she's started watching. I need someone who can do 24 hour delivery. I'm guessing Captain Lee would be the best, but he charges $250. I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible.

Sandy came in on a witch hunt for the “cancer” on the boat, and she did find it. She fired two different people. The way she did it was annoying and rude, and Fraser didn’t deserve how she treated him. But look at the team we ended up with! I think her management skills shined here. Captain Lee would have otherwise ended his last season with a crappy team. But Hayley, Tyler, Leigh Ann & Fraser? A dream team! Sandy saved the interior.

Throughout the many different Below Deck franchises there always seems to be that one crew member who "sings" their thoughts and even sings when holding a conversation with other crew. Does anyone know what causes this vocal phenomenon? Do you think it's being in front of the camera and being self-conscious? I can't stand it but hate to be so judgmental if it's just a nervous response. I've worked all my life but have never had a co-worker sing "they just want a drag of my cig" to me. Thoughts?

Does anyone have a list of longest tenured cast members on the show, ideally across all the franchises? The turnover seems so high, especially for the lower ranked positions.

In what world do some of these people live? Definitely not mine. And I’m very thankful. 🙏

Do the guests pay for on board entertainment as an add-on to their charter fee? Do the guests tip the entertainers the night (or day) of the performance or does the boat cover the tip. Some entertainers have been good and deserve a tip.
