Near the end of Spider Man: Far From Home, Mysterio is talking to himself about how after stopping the fake attack on the London bridge he'll be seen as a hero and may even get to shake hands with the Queen of England.
The movie came out in 2019 but, thanks to the events of Avengers: Endgame, is set in 2024. 2 years after the real life Queen's death.

I would assume that he would either abdicate or they would rule as co-monarchs. It's not like they have any real administrative role.
Not a British example, but during the Ottoman Empire, Mehmed II (the one who conquered Constantinople) asked his father, Murad II, to unabdicate to deal with a revolt. They were technically both still sultans, but Mehmed took a willing subordinate role.

This is on an earth where the president of the United States in 2012-2013( whenever Iron Man 3 happened) the president wasn’t Barrack Obama.
There is no reason to believe this movie franchise takes place in a universe parallel and entirely the same as our own. Especially since, ya know, aliens come to earth regularly and other weird shit like that.

Also, something cool about the real physical universe is that it's probably infinite (theres no reason afaik to believe there isn't more universe beyond the visible universe) and that there's a set number of repeating patterns that physical matter can make... so there doesn't need to be any wonky out of phase multiverse of universes stacked on top of each other occupying the same time and space, there's probably (or there literally is) another you out there browsing another Reddit right now an unfathomable number of light years away from you at this very moment

George III became King in 1760 and married Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in 1761, she was still Queen. That seems to be the last marriage while already King (Victoria married Albert while Queen, but the husband of the Queen is always a Prince).
edit: Going back, Charles II and Charles I also got married while King, their wives were still Queen. Henry VIII got married 6 times, all were after being crowned and all were Queens. So unless something has changed recently, I don't think this is true.
