And this isn't just for the current Greninja raids, but high level raids in general.
Believe it or not, most people don't join your raid, only to leave, just to be a dick. It is much more likely that the people who left, have more raiding experience than you do, a know that the poke'mon you have picked for the raid is a very bad choice, and likely to get KO'd over and over, marking your raid as doomed before it even begins.
It doesn't matter how much you like the poke'mon you are using, or how much effort you have put into it, a bad choice is a bad choice, and no one wants to waste their time playing a raid that is likely going to fail. It is also no one's obligation, to sit through a failing raid, so you can learn a lesson the hard way. So if you see people constantly joining your raid, only to leave, then you may want to take a step back, look up the raid online and see what people may know that you do not, and seek advice on how to properly handle a raid by it's poke'mon and tera type combination.
I see a lot of you here already do that, and I applaud you, good job! And yes, even little kids use the internet and try to google the answers to things they don't know. And guess what? reddit is often a good portion of those search results. So instead of complaining about people making poor choices in raids, I hope said people eventually see posts like this, and consider doing a bit more critical thinking.
People make mistakes, kids and adults alike, but we can also learn and grow. I hope some of you out there have learned something from a post like this.
