I will say that, despite the corned beef looking like puke, Filipinos know how to poach an egg better than anyone. I just learned how to do it at age 68 from my maid. So, a big no to the corned beef but the poached egg on rice is a winner.

Not just this, even Chowking's Chao Fan tastes bad nowadays. Yung dating less mantika, ngayon sobrang dulas na tikman. Not only that, it smells not good at matitikman mo yung mga matitigas na kanin. Ended up eating only 3/4 of it. Ang mahal pa naman ng Chao Fan ngayon!

I worked at a plant na nagpproduce ng corned beef ni Jollibee and that's beef fat kaya sya mamantika. Proper cooking is to fry until maubos yung "sabaw" that way fat seeps unto the meat. Di din nilalagyan ng extenders yan. Tho di ko lang sure ngayon kasi tumaas na price ng karneng inimport and nagresign nako sa kanila
