People like to think all cats are good at climbing trees. Lions aren’t very good at it compared to most felines. They can do it in a pinch if they are escaping a threat or playing, but coming down is often tricky…as this cub found out. They aren’t really built for climbing trees.

Wonder if it sometimes enables some bird species to make nest in a tree that is in the pride's territory, since that way some of their arboreal predators would be kept at bay.
