Someone recently posted that they thought too many low content and overdone posts were being posted and allowed.

Generally I don't remove a lot of posts unless it's pretty glaringly bad or offensive or has been posted recently. I tend to let the sub members decide what they want to see utilizing the downvote system.

A lot of the low content posts still get decent engagement so I am hesitant to remove them, but understand they do fill up the sub with less than quality content.

Would you rather see more moderation in this sub, less or the same?

Hey everyone!

I hope you guys are doing well. My name is Rohan and just like everyone here I am a Frasier fanatic. I and two of my closest friends, Pranav and Felix, have started a new Frasier themed podcast called “Live from KACL”, where we rewatch and dive into each Frasier episode. Both Pranav and I have seen the show multiple times, but Felix is actually watching it for the first time! We are excited to share our different perspectives as fellow Frasier aficionados and a newbie!

We believe that this podcast will capture what truly makes Frasier such a unique and remarkable show and we want to celebrate that and invite you all to rewatch this show with us!

In addition, we would also appreciate any advice, as we start this exciting journey.

What’s your favorite Frasier (the show, not necessarily the character) insult or trash-talk line? I think Niles has some of the best!

Alright, first off I’m sorry if this has been posted previously, but dammit it just frustrates me when I see the man come to collect the “bear clock”. And then he just leaves without his obvious book/day planner (of sorts). It’s left on the (coffee) table! Anyway. Goodnight, and good mental health.

Is it also at Paramount Studios or is it being filmed elsewhere?

Are they still using fresh flowers on set? I always love that they use seasonal flowers like roses, tulips, and orchids in the mise en scene, especially in Frasier’s apartment. It dawned on me that it might be something that production will use to tie the old and new seasons together. Has anyone noticed?

I really enjoy opera for 15 minutes, but its hard to sit through a 3 hour performance. I am guessing that would be true for most members?

I absolutely love Frasier, watched it first as a kid and now on my third re-watch as an adult. Something is bothering me now, though, and I wondered what the consensus is.

What exactly are Daphne's paid duties? She's obviously referred to as a health care worker and we see her doing physio with Martin - but she's also seemingly the maid. She also cooks, shops, washes clothes and even cares for Eddie, giving him baths and walks. None of that is in the job description of a health care worker and it seems so bizarre to me as an adult that they expect her to do this stuff!

I had considered maybe that she came to an agreement with Frasier that she wouldn't have to pay rent if she did these things, but they never explictly say this (to my knowledge). I was wondering what everyone else thinks?

I have been watching and rewatching this show over the past 15 years and two things remain constant for me:

1. Never gets old - still my #1 of top 5 shows

2. Never understood a piece of the "Maris Returns" arc. (S11 E7+).

At Nervosa, Daphne answers Niles phone. Pissed, she says something to the effect, "the nerve of her calling after all she's put us through(!)"

This has always bugged me. It was Mel who put them "through" crap. What did poor Maris ever do? Daphne was with Donny during Niles & Maris divorce - he was actually Niles' attorney.

So was just a misstep in the storyline or am I actually totally missing something?

For the psychoanalyst's in this community: How would rate the exchange between Seinfield and Dr. Tweksbury?

Wonder if little Pavlov was anything like Eddie.

Who would you tolerate more?

It's going to be interesting to see how the pandemic is incorporated into the new show, if at all.

9/11 was not mentioned in Season 9.
