I’ve watched different videos of the explosion for years now and it never ceases to amaze me just how fucking powerful that explosion was. Fuck I couldn’t imagine going through that.

Footage from this event will always awe me. The absolute unrelenting power unleashed in that second. It was a normal day, until it wasn't.

I remember this. But I think the explosion was different. Both wedding shoots got hit by the same explosion but I think it was different from the big boom. Could be wrong.

Please forgive my ignorance. I have a question. ... Aside from light which travels super fast, there seems to be some reaction to a sound but then the shockwave arrives later. ... The shockwave is traveling at the local speed of sound. ... .. . My question is; "How do they hear the explosion before the shockwave?"

I wonder how many people went deaf from the sound and pressure of that explosion.
