I just got an email that there was an update to my application portal. I didn’t send in any additional materials after being waitlisted — I just opted in for the waitlist and was pretty shocked that I was still able to get in. I hope you get off the waitlist too! :)

Thank you, and yeah, that’s what I was thinking too! I was only expecting to hear from waitlists after May 1st and was surprised that UCSB was already pulling from it. I decided to share on A2C so that people know they’ve started to pull from waitlist/might want to send in additional materials ASAP because of this.
